Sharrow Community Forum is a community development trust established in 1997, which works to strengthen communities in the Sharrow area of Sheffield. We work with the local community to improve services, bring people together, build the community’s voice, and help to make the local community a better place to live.

Our main areas of work are around supporting children, young people and families, community cohesion and community involvement, and providing accessible and affordable spaces for hire.  We deliver a range of services and activities from the Old Junior School and Highfield Adventure Playground and manage the community spaces at Highfield Trinity Church.

Sharrow Community Forum is a membership organisation and membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or has an interest in Sharrow.  We currently have around 80 members, most of whom are individuals who live in and around Sharrow . Our members elect officers to the board of trustees at our Annual General Meeting, held each year in the Autumn.

Our main office is at the Old Junior School on South View Road in Sharrow.

Office opening times 

Monday – Friday:  9.00 am to 10.00 pm (closing times may vary depending on bookings)

Saturday: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

Room bookings at the Old Junior School can take place outside of these hours, up to 11.30 pm Monday to Saturday.  Hire charges start from just £12 per hour, additional charges will apply on weekdays after 10.00 pm and on Saturday after 5.00 pm
