Central Community Assembly area - covering the wards of Hillsborough, Walkley, Broomhill and Central The local councillors from these four wards meet together as the Central Community Assembly. One of their main purposes is to agree a Community Plan which sets out what they think are the main priorities for this part of the city. This should also include a number of very clear and obvious actions - which are being called "citizens targets".
If you want to see the detail of the current Central Community Assembly plan, it's here: http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/in-your-area/community-assemblies/central#plans (scroll down to the bottom of the page)
The Plan covers these main areas:
Does your community organisations think that these are the right priorities, or not? If not, what do you think should be included? And do you think that any of these priorities should be removed?
We encourage people to complete this very short questionnaire on line. It asks three very short questions about where you live, as well as a few questions about yourself. It is anonymous - but if you want to include contact details, you can do. If your members don't generally use email, we can send through some paper copies of the questionnaire for completion, with freepost envelopes for return - let me know. We'd be grateful if you'd encourage your members to complete the questionnaires in whichever way is best.
