I Want To Be…

We’re delighted to announce that Highfield Adventure Playground been chosen for Tesco’s Bags of Help scheme. Selected projects are voted for by the public and will be awarded £1000, £2000 or £4000 depending on the outcome of the vote.

To vote for us, make any purchase in a participating Tesco store and you’ll be given a blue token which can be placed in one of three boxes by the door. Put your token in the ‘I want to be…’ box to support us. Voting opens this week and closes at the end of June.

You can vote for us in the following local stores: Sharrow Lane S11 8AN, Ecclesall Metro S11 8PN, Broadfield Rd S7 1FS, Abbeydale Road S7 2QB, Broomhill S10 1BP.

Highfield Adventure Playground aims to be open every day in the school holidays to make sure our children and young people have positive and creative activities to enjoy. Winning £4000 will allow us to run a holiday project called ‘I want to be…’ in which children and families work together to make interactive sculptures to improve the play area. The Playground is a vital resource for many families who may not have the means to pay for outings for their children in school holiday time, but this is dependent on fundraising, so we need your help!

Remember, you’ll be able to vote with every purchase at qualifying Tesco stores, so from a packet of chewing gum to a weekly shop, you’ll be able to help us make a difference for children and families from our neighbourhood and across South Sheffield.
