Sharrow Community Forum awarded by The Duke of York’s Community Initiative

Sharrow Community Forum is one of just 42 Yorkshire based community groups, who in its latest round of awards have been recognised by the prestigious royal reward scheme The Duke of York’s Community Initiative.

We are delighted to receive this and it is in recognition of all the hard work of all the Staff, Trustees and Volunteers.  It acknowledges how our projects are a direct result of working with and for the community and is a demonstration of the value of this work.

Sharrow Community Forum would like to thank the contributions made by local people and organisations over the last few years as anything that has been achieved is a reflection of all their efforts.  Sharrow Community Forum will be collecting the award from one of Yorkshire’s Lord Lieutenants at Huddersfield University on 12th April 2107 and has also been invited to St James’ Palace on 9th May.
